2-8 vs ranked teams says it all.

That's 1 time in 5.......imagine if a 20% percent average against ranked teams had been good enough for SOS or Meyer....Sh!t, that would put us right there with UK, Vandy, Ole Miss a few other SEC teams that I never wanted to be like....

I'm more of the 2-8 vs ranked teams guy or that he averages 4+ losses a year over his career...blown out? Naw. There's better ones than that. Mac just plain sucks.

SOS went 6-4 vs the top 25 in his first two years with wins over:
#3 FSU
#4 UT 35-18
#4 AU 48-7
#17 Bama
#21 MSU 29-7
#23 UGA 45-13

SOS had bad losses but not at this rate and rarely to average team like an arkansas. He consistently destroyed the top 25 and top 5 teams and had to contend with FSU, AUB, UT and LSU.

Meyer's worse loss was SCAR in 2005. He too destroyed the top 25 while at UF going 19-10. That was when the SEC was when the SEC was starting it's run.

Good thing Mac fixed the offense, really have gotten our money's worth.

Another factor is the 3-3 record against our biggest rivalsl.....Now to make matters worse consider UGA was at an almost all time low in those 2 years. To compound matters FSU and UGA are probably 2 of the top 3 schools we have to recruit against.....

Food for thought....would we have been better retaining Durkin as HC and Roper as OC instead of hiring Butters and Nuss? Remember Durkin was an elite recruiter....Mac is not.
