The bottom scroll on espn said smart was the lead candidate. I think thats a dumb move. Plenty of good young coaches out there with head coaching experience. I don't think it's a very good job anyhow.

Maybe this thread title could simply be about the coaching search since there's already a thread on USCe coach search and Herman has pulled out opening the door for Smart.

I'm not trying to be a prick, just wanted to have somewhere to post DJ Durkin is the front runner for Maryland.

I have nothing against DJ Durkin, but somehow I not think that is what Maryland had in mind when they fired Edsell midseason and knowing Kevin Plank was going to foot the bill for the new coach.
