Not disagreeing with that. But again, we'll see how this plays out. He's young, similar style of play, strong recruiting ties in the South and Florida. I wanted a bigger splash hire but I'm willing to give him a chance.

I've barely had time to comprehend that Billy is actually gone, hadn't even started thinking about who would replace him. Damn sure wasn't expecting to see earlier today that this guy was getting interviewed and then seeing he was hired a few hours later.

I'm sure if Billy was asked, he'd like this hire. Another up and comer given a shot at a big school, like Billy. However, I also have to think where this program came from 19 years ago and would think we'd do better than another up and comer.

That was about the quietest search ever. Perhaps others said thanks, but no thanks. White is actually 101-40 over 4 years at LA Tech. Don't know where that 83-27 came from. He won C USA regular season 3 years in a row. The only reason he didn't get to the NCAA tourney is he never won a conference tournament. And I agree, don't trash it because you've never heard of him. I'm not making comparisons but I'm are not many heard of Billy D when he was hired. I think he will be solid. And hopefully Allen doesn't bolt.
