The ol Motorola bag phone to start, bought it for my wife to have because I was working in Charlotte and she was still in Albertville, AL.
The Razor. Such cutting edge when it first came out.
Teenage my ass.....I carried one of those until 2015....
Late 90's teenage start pack.
You should see the things I've made her do.....My first was a cheap little Nokia and wasn't until around 2003. I resisted for a long while before finally getting one. The mil made me.
That's what you thought....she was still in Albertville, AL.
That's what you thought....

Oh, about that... When it stopped working I figured you cancelled the service so I stopped payin... Ain't that how it works?I loved the Razor phone. Actually sent it to @Nalt when I switched to my first iPhone. Hey Nalt, you haven't sent me the rent check for the phone in a while.

Same here. I had same one as my first. It was a pain if you had to take it anywhere other than in a car. And cell service was expensive back then too. I was with Cellular One, and it was like $30 for 15 minutes--after that....$.99/min if you went over 15 mins....and roaming was $1.49/min. Long distance added another $.99/min IF you were in home area. And of course they added on top of each other. If you were ever....over 15 mins and roaming and long distance calls....your calls could cost in the ballpark of $4.00-$5.00/min. in worst case scenario. It was easy to have a very short $30-$40 phone call. And you tried to keep calls short so you talked fast...high speed fast. Like this fast:
