Someone that actually vets the next HC. There was evidence BN was not an OC. So in the process “you must hire a winning OC” seems like an obvious condition of employment.

When changes are made, hopefully UF gets an AD who understands the SEC and how to put together a football schedule. Playing 8 conference games and FSU every year is routinely enough to put our schedule in the most difficult in the nation. There is absolutely no reason to overschedule. No need to do anything but schedule the Western Carolina’s, the Idaho’s, and the FIU’s to round out the remaining three games. Strickland should be fired for many reasons, including the ridiculous schedule for 2024. What idiot goes out of their way to make it as hard as humanly possible for your football program to succeed. The playoffs are expanding, there is absolutely no reason other than stupidpity for an SEC football team to play two ACC and one big 12 team out of conference. Schedule cupcakes like every other competent SEC AD and get your team 3 wins every year. Even when the Gators were on top, the schedule featured 3 wins and FSU on every schedule annually. Put Strickland and Foley back on the short bus for Christ’s sake.
