The language in the LOA also stated that FSU’s “obligation shall be subject to a mitigation offset in the event you secure subsequent employment prior to University’s full satisfaction of such payments.”

Basically, the FAU contract worth $3,875,000 should directly cut into the amount FSU owes Taggart to make it closer to $14 million.
