Here is an observation after watching Fisher last night and now Sausage and NicFic. Does it seem like the softer stuff gives the LSU hitters more trouble than those 98 mph straight as an arrow ones?

I think that is the thought for sure now. I think earlier it was Slater to finish the game when we were up 4 or 5 early. Now I think Slater is up and warming at the start of the game tomorrow as you can hope Cags can throw strikes, but you can't bet the farm on it.

I would guess 100 pitches max. I know that is a stretch but that guy is a man. And chances are the team that drafts him is going to shut him down for the rest of the minor league season or at least a few months.

According these announcers he might go 15+ innings if they need it, turn a loaf of bread into enough to feed the crowd. & quite possibly walk in water if asked to.
