I really dont see why they dont play Grier. I know he was terrible in September and hasnt done NOTHING the last four weeks, but surely he has to be better. This is solely on the coaches for not plahing Grier.

And solely on Treon for causing the running game to fail completely.

Kelvin had over 100 yards rushing tonight.

But yes this is Griers fault 100%. Man what could have been.

Treon should be benched, send a message that we will not accept subpar QB play. This game was an embarrassment.

You're embarrassing yourself at this point.

Law, TREON CAN'T PLAY. I'm sure even you can see this by now.

I don't know if Treon just does not have it upstairs to run a complex offense. But it can't all be the offensive line cause you can put me out there with no offensive line and I can still hit a screen pass or quick slant from a shotgun position. (ok a center to snap the ball) He throws the ball to low he has no touch to lob it over the defensive ends. I'm just at a loss for words can't wait to quit my job tomorrow, when my boss bebops into the office and says go noles I am going to tell him to **** himself. I can't work for anyone who would cheer for this group of rapey clown @$$ thugs.

If McElwain wants to keep his honeymoon going with Gator Nation he'd better pull his head out of his ass long enough to realize what a humiliating disaster this loss to the ****holes in our own house was tonight. Don't allow it again Mac or you may find yourself on the market again That stinknole team is not very good and you allowed them to beat the crap out of us in our own house. Learn and learn fast.

Welcome Tunaboat.

Just please, change your AV so that Treon is having his nose nipped by the Seagull. THAT would make my day.

I wonder if Mac realizes he's losing this team; you could tell by the way the game finished tonight.

Let's not get carried away here, brother. The defense was gassed at the end. That's why they finished poorly. And the offense has no chance with Treestump calling the signals.

It must say something about the quality of the backup QBs that Treestump is the best we have and that he is apparently so much better than the others that they can't even get on the field. From my perspective, how much worse could they possibly have done? The most depressing part of this is unless we snag a graduate transfer, how does it get any better until/if Grier returns?

What is it about scholarship qb's getting all the playing time? If the 3 star walk on can sling it to an open receiver then that has to be better than what Treon is giving us.

Something is wrong when you get down to the 6 and all you have to do is throw it out of the endzone and your dumbazz throws it out of the sideline and get a intentional grounding and ruin our chances of getting the momentum to win this game 14-13

I don't blame Harris the same way I didn't blame Driskel, he's not calling his number on every down. I have problems with the offense being the exact same under Harris that it was under Grier when it's perfectly clear that he doesn't run it close to as well. Coaches have to be able to tweak their styles to the players that they have and they haven't done that. The plays are there to be made but Harris isn't making them so something needs to change. Harris isn't adding anything to the passing game to make him worth running out there play after play. If he were adding something in the passing game to offset what we wouldn't have without him then I would understand but that's not the case.

This really feels like the lost season, some of the weakest competition that we've seen for awhile and if we just had a decent QB and kicker then we would really be in the playoff running.

This tweet does piss me off though:

Nick de la Torre ‏@NickdelaTorreGC 6m6 minutes ago
McElwain says there was no thought n replacing Treon Harris: "He's our quarterback." #Gators

Why would you not even think about a change just to see what could happen instead of running Treon out there to get destroyed? I know people are saying that he's our best option but I really feel like a backup could luck into a score before Treon leads us to one. And who knows, maybe that's enough to spark this offense.

It doesn't matter who. Grady, I would assume. Give him all the first team reps this week and throw him out there. Someone new may at least give us a 1% chance to win. It's 0% with Harris. Mentally, he is DONE, and Mac has to know that.

Same with Hardin. There is no reason for Hardin to ever attempt another kick for the Florida Gators. Put in the dentist and be done with it.

Discuss.

Cannot disagree...

Just got back from the game. This one's on Treon. Call me racist. Blame the OL. I don't care. I know what I and everyone else in the building saw.

Callaway was WIDE OPEN down the sideline and Harris puts the ball in the turf ten yards behind him. Even worse, Powell was wide open down the middle on the same play.

There were times the OL got beat, but there were just as many where they held up and Harris just could not make the play.

Overthrows, underthrows, passes to no one, missed open receivers, passes batted down. He has NO downfield vision and has nowhere near the skillset required to effectively run this offense. He plays like a HS QB.

The absolute worst was his panic attack from the four yard line on third down when he should have thrown it away and ended up getting an intentional grounding call after the OL had given him PLENTY of time to do otherwise. We should have run gatortail with Grady on that sequence.

I think Mac is sticking with him because he has so many friends on the team and he doesn't want to create ill will or controversy at this point.

I pray we get Franks in here to early enroll. Skinny and young as he is he'll have a great chance to be the starting QB next fall. I already know it can't get any worse than this.

If we had one, Im sure we would. We have guys that got no better offer than to come play for Chimp. We had ither guys but Chimp ran them off. One is throwing for 3000 yards at another Power Conference school.

This is solely on Fooley for allowing this to continue a year and half too long.

I Franks enrolls early open up the competition. I have no problem starting a true freshman over starting Treon.

What does this have to do with Grier? I'm sure he is better. Whose fault is it that Mac is playing the guy who should be the backup QB?

It has to be Mac's fault. Right?
