East Carolina just fired Ruffin McNeill. Should Muschamp not get the SC job would he be willing to pursue East Carolina or is that below him at this career stage? Would the DC job at Georgia be better than a head coaching job at ECU?

I call BS on that obesity chart. Almost every Hawaiian I've ever seen playing football is a huge lineman. Very few Hawaiian wr's and db's from Hawaii.

So you watch football.........................and those are Samoan's. Sure, there's probably more Samoan's that live in Hawaii than anywhere else, and you see the giant ones that played college ball at Hawaii, USC and other west coast schools (heck, we had one a UF recently - Jalepeno). But not all people in Hawaii are Samoan's, far from it. Ever been to Hawaii? Most natives are pretty thin.

Mississippi has more problems than most states, but a lot of people are working to fix them. I think you should live in a state a year before you feel competent to abuse it and the people who choose to live there.

I have family in Mississippi. They suck. The state sucks. It's like the entire thing is Waldo or Lawtey. I did drive by Brett Favre's place once, he had a nice front gate. My wife's family is from Mobile. Do you want to know what they all say? "Thank God we dont live in Mississippi." I dont really like them either, so it might just be me.

I think it was Steve Russell today that was reporting that the word out of Auburn is that Muschamp will not be returning, regardless if he finds another job.

Take the Japanese out of the equation and you're right.

The true natives are huge, same pacific island decent as Tonga, Samoa, etc. But there has been so much immigration from Japanese and Filipinos that the current locals are more asian than Islander which is why the obesity stats are low. Basically the more Asians you have in your state, the lower the obesity rate.

BTW, they have really good weed in Hawaii, but I'm sure you know that.;)

I have enjoyed everywhere I have lived, save maybe Nebraska. I would explain why on Nebraska, but that would violate my own rule about not using this board to discuss a state. I know you are clever and read carefully, so I assume you think that is cute. It is merely disingenuous. I did not say I had problems, I said the states had problems. Do you know a perfect state?

I will give you a hint on Nebraska: over a hundred degrees in summer and forty three consecutive days when the temp did not get as high as freezing is not to my liking.
But in Nebraska I did the best scientific work of my career. I am disappointed in you because I know you know better.
