I definitely think so. After I got banned, I went to Google. Looked up "Florida Gators blog" "Florida Gators News" Different blog sites came up. Not this one. Then I Googled Florida Gators forum, this site came up 4th or 5th. So I checked it out and was stunned how good it was. This site is for actual fans... Not fan boys.
There has to be some way to spread the word that we are here. But honestly, it was kinda hard to find on Google. But I'm glad im here.
I sent an email to "the other guys" to try to get an explanation as to why I was banned. And if they respond, I'll try to get back in the forum and let everyone know that they can come here.
Shoot them a proverbial middle finger!
I love getting a perspective on a game from the 'other fans' involved, but have to search for an alternate site since I cannot interact with said fans from the 247 site I pay for, and had to go through a BUNCH of sites requiring payment before I found this one, which turned out well for me because, I found a good one.Very few sites are filled with realistic fans who love their team, and not blind homers. They are the worst. You can't talk to them. We have about a 40% homer rate, that if you aren't predicting rainbows shining out the Gamecocks ass, you aren't a real fan. You know the drill.
Maybe the homers not knowing how to find you, is a good thing. You've got a good thing going here. Having said that I have recommended this site to those Gamecocks who I personally know are not in that group, and like to talk football with a little good-natured smack talk on the side.
