Do they get bumped bc bama offers or do they offer bc the kids are actually top level talent? Based off results on the field I'd say the latter.

Just for purposes of clarification....

If this kid ends up flipping to Florida next week would he then be a bum because

1. He's a 3 star
2. His offer list sucks
3. The Bama offer doesn't really count because he was plan D for Bama

Just trying to figure out the rules of evaluation

Didnt you know that any recruit that flips to us over bama means that the bama offer wasnt a commit able offer. Least thats what is gospel here.

Everything that I have seen from him says that he is a hard-core OSU commit. Any flip would be completely surprising.

Hell if I know. I just pointed out that the great Nick Saban just got a commit from a 3-star in the 2018 class.....and as we all know, they get the "Bama Bump", so I wagered he'd be a 4-star and possibly even a 5-star by next year. What do you think would happen if he flipped to UF? I think it would be great, honestly. If we got a kid Saban wanted this early in the process. But nowhere does it mention this kid, from Memphis, TN, having any interest in UF....unless I missed it. Then YOU can post a link for all of us to read about his interest in UF. Not sure what your post is about....

247 has DT Alec Jackson visiting. He's 6'5 275, needs to put on weight but should be over 300 with a redshirt (hopefully).

Sorry, wasn't posting that specific to you. I should have made that clear. The post was in response to many posts on this thread and others by many different people.
