Thread title needs to be changed to Lemons decommits, recommits, but then REdecommits

Actually, I think it needs to be Lemons decommits, recommits, but then DErecommits.

You commit, you decommit, you recommit, you de-recommit. Rog?

In any event, I am now decommiting from this thread.

Oh...he'll be on a roster in the P5 next year! Someone who doesn't give a sh*t about him or his education will take him and find a way to get him eligible.

Might be on a SEC roster, plenty of Auburns, Ole Misses, Miss State, USCe, etc.. to go around... he will find a home.

This is going to help with the 2018 stud looking at us. Lingard I think. Best spin I can think of. I was a little hesitant on Lemons just due to how he came across. You could almost tell he was going to have some kind of issue.

Yeah. Lingard maybe the best running back in the country. Unfortunately the noles all over him.

I just can't, for the life of all things respectable, figure how anyone would want to go to f$u. It just doesn't register with me. But then I started thinking about academic standards. ...and moral standards...etc....

My niece turned down a full scholarship to FSU to go to UF where she's currently paying her own way through.

Smart girl. :fistbump: :chomp:

Oh, but now she's going to have to pay for her fries
Yep, student loans all the way. She took so many prep courses in HS and then went to summer school at UF, that she entered her first fall as a sophomore. I told her she just wasted what would likely be her funnest year of college.

She was born in the wrong time. The funnest years at UF were the mid to late 80s and the early 90s Imo...capped off with the 96 title. The 97 win against f$u in the Swamp was next. I wasn't there for Meyer's reign. Let's hope she gets to experience something similar.

I was in G'ville from 87-97, moved away in the spring but came back for the FSU game that year, thank god! Best game ever, and I saw a lot of good ones in that span. We used to live about mile west of the stadium where people didn't generally have to pay to park, so we let people park at our house and we always had parties with BBQ and a keg. Great times.

Great times indeed. But if my daughter or niece were to attend UF in those days, I would be sure to have her trained in self-defense. Those were crazy times, with plenty of alcohol and green to go around. I suppose it's somewhat different now. But even in those days it was never as bad as f$u; they've always been criminals--that's their legacy. We were just having fun lol.

Looks like he's back in the class if he gets his test score...on the other hand, this Zach making the prediction. We need to get his HS teammate, DT Kane Taylor!

https://www.seccountry.com/florida/floridas-top-recruiting-targets-no-10

With the dead period now in effect, SEC Country is counting down the top 10 recruiting targets for Florida in the Class of 2017.

No. 10 is Adarius Lemons, a 3-star running back from Clearwater, Fla.

Recruiting importance of Adarius Lemons
Lemons has always been the top target for UF at the position. He was ranked the state of Florida’s No. 1 running back, but now has a 3-star rating because he missed most of his senior season due to suspension. He decommitted from the Gators on Oct. 25 after being dismissed from his high school team, but they rebounded with 3-star running back Malik Davis from Tampa, Fla. However, following the transfer of Jordan Cronkrite, the coaches need to sign a second back in this year’s class and Lemons is their man.

Biggest competition for Adarius Lemons
There is none. Lemons originally committed to North Carolina before flipping to Florida on July 24 after Friday Night Lights. The Tar Heels continued recruiting him into the fall, but they are no longer in the picture. Lemons racked up 24 offers — including LSU, Michigan and Ohio State — prior to his senior season, but UF is the only school that kept tabs on him during his off-the-field troubles. Lemons repeatedly has stated he wants to work his way back into Florida’s class.

Signing day projection for Adarius Lemons
Following his suspension, Lemons transferred to Pinellas Secondary School to finish the semester and improve his academics. Lemons announced Tuesday that he will transfer back to Clearwater High School for the spring semester after making the necessary grades this fall. If Lemons earns an adequate test score on his ACT, he will be qualified for Florida. Running backs coach Tim Skipper had an in-home visit with Lemons last week and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier is in contact with his high school coach, Don Mesick. If Lemons stays on track academically, expect him to sign with the Gators.
