Is this a joke? I'm really not sure.

Even if we jump above those two schools (who knows if we even do), we will be 6th in the SEC and far behind UGA.
That's the new norm, so the concern expressed by some is perplexing to those that have embraced it

Someone needs to show the new AD the current recruiting rankings and tell Mac to get busy or GTFO. He is ruining any chance for the next guy for years to come.

I don't know why everyone is so concerned. I think we have a real good chance of jumping ahead of both the Cocks and the Vols.

It's this very attitude that is seeping into the very foundation of this program. The bar gets lowered every year a little bit more.

The "yeah, but" crew makes excuse after excuse. At some point the bleeding has to stop.

Its shocking how many people on other sites think if he pulls a 14th or so ranked class its alright even if its 7th or so in the SEC.

That's why I said I'm not sure if it's a joke or not. Never know around here ;)

Let the Pumpers start to PUMP:

UGA now has 19 4 or 5-star commits from the 24/7 combined rankings.

The rest of the SEC East has 20.

Odd considering the UGA staff has had less time to gain relationships than the UF staff.

Boy I just hope Kirby don't turn out to be a great coach or the dawgs will be setup to dominate the east and challenge Bama for a long time. If he can't win the east next year, I think we'll have our answer for sure.

but but but, kirby was already recruiting the south for years so he has the relationships while butters was in Montana making sandwiches. So tired of that excuse. Meyer came from mormon country and immediately lit it up. Harbaugh is cleaning our clock from michigan. Franklin took over an almost death penalty program and they can complete a forward pass. Good coaches either have it or they don't. Every year a new guy is hired somewhere that turns around crap that was just as bad as ours.

They're favorite line is that they're cheating.

If you can't out recruit them...accuse them of cheating.

Pretty simple concept for the pumpers.

Georgia is a talent rich state....take a guess which state was Kirby's responsibility. That's not an excuse, it's a reason. Kirby can't recruit like Urban, and Butters certainly can't, but I wish Butter could recruit like Kirby. We'll see what happens with UGA. I think they'll win the East at some point, because I just don't see Butters getting it done. But, I don't think they'll win an SEC title. They'll be extremely talented and extremely underwhelming.

I agree. Unless they lose a lot of guys to transfer they are setting up to be a very very good team even with subpar coaching. Muschamp won 10 games with Urban's #1 recruiting class... Kirby can win the East. He has done a good job of locking down his home state.

I am not a big fan of bowl games. I think often one team is dis-interested while the other is trying to prove somethjng or players are dis-interested and playing for the NFL and not the team, but today is important for the program. These boys need to come out and play with energy and kick Iowa's a$$!

I don't either, unless Eason really turns out to be the next can't miss guy. It helps he doesn't have anyone other than a triple option team to recruit against him instate.
