I wouldn't say it's the main reason we missed out on him (goes without saying there are a number of other factors impacting our failings), but Lashlee was his primary recruiter and relationship at Auburn.

This is the final stretch grind up to Signing Day on Feb. 1. Some teams will mostly look to sure up their commitments and flip some guys, others still need to build a big part of the class, and some new head coaches will go see their school’s committed players in their homes for the first time.

I thought Nord was on contract through January - but I agree, contract or not, he should not be on the staff at this time as he provides no value and is likely impacting recruiting in a negative way.
