UF replaced Blades so quickly and some around here suggested Blades might not be all that even before he decommitted. So that leads me to believe UF knew someone they felt was as good a prospect, Stiner, and Blades was quickly out of the question after he backed out.

I did not mean you in particular which is why I did not multiquote your comment into mine. I meant my comment more generally. Still I know I was replying to a response to you and why you and other would have viewed it as a direct comment on your post.

Stiner is a safety right... while Blades is more of a CB... so I don't feel like Stiner replaces him.

Way I heard it, Blades also played on O and while a great athlete and we still want him, Stewart was a little better immediate D prospect. Not sure on Stiner.

Well Blades is reported at being 6'2" tall. That sounds like a safety to me until proven differently.

Thanks for your post, TraskTrainJay. The positives of it will linger. Those past Gators are not touting Mac,
since they never knew him. They are being honest fans of their "life" at the University of Florida - fans of
UF like we all are. Wouldn't be surprised if what motivated the "shout-out" came from reading that ESPN
hatchet job on the UF-Program's tanking. What other college program has had the national media point
out its faltering like that? I hope some recruits give thought to what some current UF NFLers say.

Slaton - His coach said he thinks UF is where he wants to be. I've seen reported grade issues though. His coach also says he is better suited to play DT even though he is a highly rated guard/tackle.

Gaddy twins - This seems to come down to playing close to home verse playing in the SEC. Which one wins?

Conliffe - I have no idea. I've seen Bama, Penn St., and the good guys.

Wyatt - Everyone would be stunned if he flips. This looks like an announcement just to get attention. Stays with the ugly butt-lickers.

Did I miss anyone? Do we get any of these guys?

Malik Young, though I think he is highly unlikely unless we strike out terribly on the five above.
