I dont believe Mac should be fired...yet. If he cant produce on offense with Nuss and Nord and he doesnt fire them, then yes by all means fire Mac. I think its more Nuss than Mac and its his job to hire the right people. Nuss isnt it.

It all depends on how the losses played out. But one bad season will not get him fired. I know many here are hoping for a bad season (that's what people should be saying WTF to) But he is not going to be fired this season.

I think this year should be his make or break year but....

SInce he just received a contract extension I think he will get 5 years regardless of what happens this season. I think the logical question for Scott Stricklin is why would you give him a contract extension when he has 4 years left on his contract? Especially when there has been no improvement in the offense in two seasons?

I think this year is important to show that we can improve offensively. I think he should at least get 4 years, especially considering the cards he was dealt, but the offense needs to show improvement this year imo and we need to be competitive in every game= no blowout losses.

He hired him and stuck with him after 2 100+ seasons the offense is on him.

6-6 or 7-5 with a crappy offense again should 100% get him canned but whether they actually would even at 6-6 is another story. He shouldn't get a pass for the East being way down the past 2 seasons.

Mac is gonna get 2018 because $$. If Nuss gets fired he may get 2019.

Also, what is your definition of "make or break" for this year? Does that mean winning the East? Better offense w/out winning the East? QB emerging? Beating FSU? Beating Michigan but losing to FSU? Winning SEC championship? Making playoff?
