Allen is terrible and probably won't be in the league much longer. It is telling that even with the QB situation as bad as it is, he isn't receiving any consideration from Marrone. The jags already offered a 2nd round pick for McCarron and the bengals turned it down. So many jag fans, playing GM, say to offer a first which is stupid. I get it. It sucks the season is over before it has even begun. I've given up on the next 3 years when TC hired Mr. "I'd run the ball 85 times if I could."

Honest question: how do we know Allen is terrible? Only seen him in limited time, and he's been killing it this preseason (yes, I know it's vs backups). If they aren't signing anybody worth anything, just give the kid a shot to see if he has anything to offer. The fact he isn't receiving consideration from Marrone means nothing, I don't trust his judgement at all.

I'm with you on the McCarron thing. No way an unproven QB is worth a first lol.

The Tebow curse is haunting the Jacksonville Jaguars. :bwahaha: The quarterback play this year will be at an all-time low most likely.

Oh look. One of Tebow's biggest haters here to trash him yet again!
Coming from the #1 Gator hater, I'm flattered.

You're just flat-out better than the rest of us. You make sure to make that clear to us daily.

To catch you up, the Jags could have had Tebow for the minimum salary after the Jets released him. Not only did they turn up their noses at someone who could have invigorated the entire franchise, they went out of their way to publicly humiliate him at a press conference: "even if he's released". Eff them. They deserve everything that's happened to them. Tebow could have won them some games the last few years. They could have removed the tarps and had standing-room only in that stadium.

That's a curse? The Broncos traded him away and won a Super Bowl. News flash: Tebow is a great person, one of the best in sports. He was a generational college football talent. But he was a below average NFL QB, which is being generous. Every time one of you knuckleheads spouts off this delusional sh*t about how he could have won a horrible team like the Jaguars more games, it just makes you look like you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. He had a legit shot with how many teams? If he was good enough to make a roster, he would be on a roster.

FTR, I voted for Tebow in 78's percentage thread, and like I said the other day, if I was starting a college football program with any player in history, he'd more than likely be my pick.

I figured you'd start with Michael Sam.

Exactly the kind of hate I was expecting.

Fellow jags fans, this is our head coach. Muschump approved. :bwahaha:

*Marrone, asked how many times a game quarterback Blake Bortles will ideally throw next season, said his answer was simple: “Zero.” He said he wasn’t joking about this, and he wasn’t smiling when he said it. “For me, I’d like to run the ball every play,” Marrone said. “I want to go back to the old way. I want to change the game.” Marrone added that he didn’t know a specific ideal number for Bortles’ passing attempts next season. …

Hahahahaha! Yeah, we'll just be so damn good at running the ball we'll never have to pass. Wow! The Jags are really on to something with this guy!

I mean, its so simple, its genius! Belichick, Johnson, Landry, Lombardi, they all have nothing on this guy. Forget about the fact that its the NFL and every week you're going against the best run-stoppers on the planet and coaches that know how to defeat certain schemes....lets just strut around like if we're all just big and tough enough we can just impose our will and never have to throw the ball.

What a moron.

I'm sure that's not who the search firm recommended. The owner is obviously an idiot when it comes to football.
