I'm just not seeing it. This team is no where near elite 8 and haven't really played like it. JMHO. Nothing more. Glad we made the tourney though. That was huge for White.

I think you sum up this team as 3-0 and quadrant 1 games at home, but mysterious losses at home to teams like Loyola, SoCar, UGa, UAL that they seemingly should beat. Perhaps they are a team that plays to the level of their competition.

To me this team is about equally likely to go on a 3 or 4 win run in the tourney or lose in the first round when they don't take yet another opponent seriously.

Gators 20 wins and IN the NCAA Tourney and there is NOTHING you can do about it Trolls! Go Gators!!
You keep doing this and you're going on vacation. To say it has gotten old is an understatement. You are relentless with this garbage. Just STFU and let other Gator fans enjoy the wins along with you.

I expect the same message to the group of posters who only show up after losses.

Great win by the good guys. I actually expected this to be a relatively easy win and it was. We had too much momentum going after the last 2 wins, and the team is finally playing with a sense of urgency. We were also due to have a good 3 point shooting game. Couple that with it being senior day and home game with a large rowdy crowd, and I figured it would be too much for Calamari's young squad.

Now the team has almost a week to get healthy, but I hope the layoff doesn't cool off the positive mojo they have found. This is a very dangerous tourney team if they can keep up this level of play.

So I got pulled from the house 20 min before tip off, didn't set the DVR because I didn't expect to be leaving. I get home for the last 12 seconds.

Anyone know how to get a replay on this one since it was CBS?

Maybe I should put up some game takes:

1. As said above, Allen really had a nice all around game.

2. Hudson was the offenssive star of this game with good shooting and showing a willingness to score both inside and outside.

3. Chiozza played a bit loose in the second half, but was controlled the offense well in the first half when UF got the lead.

4. Koulechov was solid and with Hudson was a big part of going inside to score early in both halves.

5. Stone, Hayes and Gak contributed 64 minutes and produced 20 points and 16 rebounds. It was really nice to see Gak able to play 16 minutes.

6. UK was the only team UF swept this year. This should have UF up to 10 quadrant 1 wins.

Florida is up 65-53 at the user 8 timeout. I'm calling it. We will lose all 23 pt lead in the 2nd half...just pathetic offense against the zone...have to freaking score
Nailed it again. You are clearly our most knowledgeable basketball poster, but I have to ask: Do you do this every game?

This year due to the % of 15+ pt leads already blown for losses. 6 of our 11 losses, probably 6 of 8 blown against good competition.

Most of the time I don't believe it but if we played that the way we have the other games it would have been. White stepped on the gas once it got under 10. Against Duke and Bama earlier in the year he did not. There is a reason it's a game thread

One helluva dominating show in what was supposed to be Murderer's Row. Took out the barn, bama and now the mildkats. Congrats Coach White and Gators! Great way to end the home season in the O-Dome!!!

Hope you are right. Loved how we picked the tempo back up when it got to 10 pts. Wouldn't have seen that earlier and that made the difference in the end
I think part of it is UK is playing better now. We just played harder and to our strengths. Experience showed today. I also like how White and our boys have played 4 NCAA tourney games. ...................

I have to add though....even when they made their run....which was more about us missing something like 10-12 shots in a row...we had several good looks. We also had some aggressive transition where we blew chip shots...including two fumbled long passes which both should have been scores. Can’t blame White (or pace) for these. We just didn’t finish.

I liked the way we held serve when the game tightened up. I felt we were in control the entire game and never had the uneasy feeling that we would blow this one. We appeared composed.

I also saw Hayes and Gak playing together at times. That seemed to be somewhat effective...wonder what the +/- was when they were paired.
