Yep, he got bent because I said 247 (when referring to Franz and Buddy - I thought they worked for 247 nowadays). But he knows all of the "insiders" (him included) were calling Chip Kelly a done deal.
"Franz"... that guy has been FOS for years now.

He has to be the only starting QB at a P5 program to straight up quit football with eligibility left. I guess he ran out of transfers or something.

At least he's doing well for himself posting videos on you tube while living off daddy's trust. I'm surprised he doesn't have a job cutting crusts off PB&Js in Ann Arbor.
LOL... think there are some entitlement issues there.

Sources at both Rivals and 247 say the QBs and OL did not look good last night. At all.
Groundhog Day.

Well, we can look at it like this...it was an opportunity to put that crap on film so Mullen, Johnson, and Hevesy can prove the crappiness to their charges.

In the chat box we have decided this report is smoking mirrors.

Yeah, based on 1) known performance by the players and 2) competing sites citing different sources...I'll go with it being accurate rather than "smoking mirrors".

Unless by "smoking mirrors" you mean that last night's performance was an uncanny reflection of last YEAR'S ineptitude and should be burned in effigy...then I'm on board.

All I ask for is for whoever our QB is to average 240 (+) yards 2TD/(less than)1INT a game and our line hold up to allow 1 or less sacks ,190 (+) , and 2 rushing TDs a game. I know those are not godly numbers but that would make us competitive

The great Nick Fitzgerald 1700 yards 15/11. QB Whisperin'.

I guess if the rush yards are ok, I dont mind. But if the QB is the only 1000 yard rusher and he is just taking the yards from the tailback, you end up with another 100th ranked offense and most inportantly, no points on the board.

Disappointing to hear, but shouldn’t this be expected when a whole new offense is being installed, and with a lot of players that weren’t recruited for it? I think hearing the Oline still struggling mightily is more disappointing to me at this point, but I guess I should’ve expected that.

I think we will be seeing a lot of two TE to help the weak OL. And/or two RB sets to give the QB more protection.
The problem w 2 TE is it brings two more defenders innthe box and it only helps if your TEs are good blockers.

If we have one, Im not aware of it.

To me that would take playmakers off the field and only be needed for passing situations, and wouldn't those sets signal pass? If two TEs chip block then run quick routes and one RB is on a wheel route a defense has problems if our QB finds the open. I just hope Mullen can find his groove again.
