I don't think anyone doubts that at this point. If he was going to be canned, it would have already happened.

I suppose it's possible that they'll suspend him a game or two to "send a message".

I am told it will be time served, they will clear him on Sunday and he is back in full control on Monday

The thing I'm really hating is how McMurphy is dealing with it. Just release your article/report and lay out all the facts. He's acting like he doesn't have it all sewn up so he's releasing bits trying to get other people to come forward. He gave Urban a warning shot and now Urbs basically got the AD set up to take the fall. Maybe it's not McMurphy's fault, maybe he couldn't get people to cooperate, but damn this looks like a rag tag offering.
It probably seems like McMurphy is trying to pull a Columbo over Meyer and OSU, but it's really just the result of focused and relentless reporting. The way the St. Pete Times dealt with the Pell investigation was similar. It felt like they were toying with UF. They had five guys gathering facts 24/7, and as it turned out there were a ton of facts to be gathered.

Oftentimes you can't gather more facts until you gather more facts.

Hmmmm.... I don't know. The Buxeyes seem pretty nervous up here, even the higher level people.

He lied to the media, he's embarrassed the university, and the Powell police effed up yuge.

At the end of the day, though, the committee is going to rule that Zach Smith was a troubled young man, that he operated on his own, and for appearance's sake Meyer will be given a vacation until Christmas.

Here's what gets me more than anything about Meyer. He puts on this phony front like he's a crusader on behalf of troubled kids. Anyone who is a parent of a troubled kid knows the first rule of the road: You watch them like a hawk.

Not Urbs. He's apparently too busy worrying about other troubled kids to mind the store.

I don’t know what the problem is. He’s banging a girl at work, so he sends the sex toys to work. You guys want his wife to find out?

Meyer's reputation is forever damaged, IMO, no matter what Ohio State does. He left UF "broken" (his own words), with record arrests, double standards in the way he disciplined and an entitlement mentality that divided the locker room, etc. And now in Columbus his hypocrisy has been revealed again. His tough words in regards to ethics and morality are nothing like his actions and in spite of those at both schools who continue to sing his praises because of championships and winning percentage, his legacy will as one of the greatest recruiters and coaches of all time who was a sleazebag with a win at all cost attitude who will say anything at anytime to anyone if it suits his purpose. Ohio State is much bigger than Urban Meyer and they have to decide whether or not keeping this all time great coach is worth the continuing negativity that will be raining down on them and the ongoing efforts that will be out there to undermine his program by digging up and exposing every piece of dirt they can find. The 'facts" and details of what did or did not happen in the Smith case are not really as important as the reputation of a truly great institution and football program.

Based on the Bucknut fans I met at the 2006 NC game, they won’t give a $hit. Most arrogant fans on the planet. Just win baby.

But red? Who wears red?

Clearly he wanted red to match his OSU polo

Amazon product

  • And it does just what the name says, protrudes your manhood forward giving you a fuller, lifted look
  • This is great for wearing under your swimsuit, at the gym or with nothing at all under your clothes

Love the multi-use......really makes your crank look thick. Took this kids to Adventure Island, really pissed I didnt see this product sooner
