Nothing against EJ, but if you think he can read a defense any better than Franks you are sorely mistaken. Cousin Eddie gave him very easy plays today and to his credit he did well. On his one pass which was a great throw it was the only throw he was going to make on that play. the one bad spot Cosuin Eddie put EJ in was costly even tho it was not a turnover. I am all for EJ playing but not burning his year.
And the one potentially great play was under thrown allowing the penalty. I also think that the receiver gave up on the throw on the flea flicker. It was not that over thrown. Now Franks made too many blunders, the turnovers and he had a receiver open late (TE after block) and threw the ball away. His brain does not work fast enough or correctly, and his running is only for wide open opportunities.
