I'm not disagreeing with you. However, they were total garbage last season and beat us in the Swamp by about 50. Now that was against a team that had quit, but I'm in a "wait-and-see" mode on this series. We SHOULD kill them, no doubt about it. But someone at FSU made a deal with the football gods three decades ago that still tends to rear its ugly head from time to time.

They were bad last year but they still won 7. They weren’t horrendous and should not be this bad this year. They quit all right, but they quit on Willie. Only so much dancing and dabbing they can take before the players realize what a joke he is. Seemed to happen way faster than I thought

In reading about the backpack, it was the PLAYERS who wanted it, not Taggart. They liked the concept of the Miami "turnover chain" and wanted to come up with their own.

I'll have this view next season.
I'm with you when you say we should win this game. I think we will absolutely pound them.
But I'm not at a point where I'm requiring it. There's a lot of football between now and then. Who knows what the complexion of these teams will look like at that point. Having a new coach, going into a game against a team with decidedly more talent than we have --even if that talent is flagrantly under-coached-- is never a gimme game. Anything could happen.
Again, I'm not saying that we shouldn't EXPECT to win. I just veer off when you require it. I think that's overboard. Next year, however, there will no such concessions being made.
