Came to Gators under very unusual circumstances, IIRC there was some quirk in his academic records that rendered him ineligible for his senior year at Arizona State ... not his fault AFAIK ... which the NCAA said could only be remedied if he transfered...

    Well dahm. Getting close-ish to as far back as I have personal memories of Gator basketball. Ronnie Montgomery was a very important part of those teams that broke into the NCAA tourney for the 1st time, and then again. Back then we had season tickets, saw a lot of games.

    I don't care how many SEC refs there are vs how many games, the league should not have brought in supplemental refs for the tourney who had never in their lives worked a game outside of the Alabama Correctional Institutions League. That was brutal. Proud of our team though.

    Dartmouth "College" basketball team joins a union

    Dartmouth is in the Ivy League .... there are no athletic scholarships. The school does have a fabulous needs-blind admission policy and funding for those who need financial help. IIRC, it's entirely grants or p/t work ... no loans whatsoever. ALSO ... MODS wake up ... it's Dartmouth COLLEGE...

    Indeed. Haugh was moving his feet like a wild man, and Condo was his sneaky best in that stretch. But great play all around. An 21-2 run does not happen every day. WOW. Go Gators. You can win this tournament.
