And we lack in both categories.
Wrong. Steele who has forgotten more about football than you and donkey's football knowledge combined says UF has BOTH this season. But he is not biased like you two. Not national championship but vast improvement.

Wrong again. See you continue to incorrectly shoot from the hip. He did not say UF would win the national championship last year in August but did correctly project Bama. We were not in his top 10 in late August of 2017.

Phil Steele’s Projected AP Top 10. – Phil Steele

He did nail it the year we did win the national championship. His magazine is considered the most thorough in the business. You are considered a donkey. No one is always right as how do you anticipate things like injuries/suspensions.

Wow......bye bye

Florida Gators four-star freshman Justin Watkins has been indefinitely suspended from the football program after being arrested Tuesday.

Watkins is presently in custody facing four charges, including a pair of third-degree felonies for domestic battery by strangulation and kidnapping-false imprisonment of an adult. He is also facing two first-degree misdemeanor battery charges. The arrest was made by the University Police Department.

According to the police report, as obtained by WCJB TV20 (ABC), Watkins is accused of striking a woman “both with an open and closed fist on both sides of her head” and choking her on more than one occasion while holding her down on a bed in a dorm room on July 20. He then allegedly blocked the door when the woman tried to leave the room and attempted to physically restrain her until she spayed him with mace and escaped. Watkins did not stop there, according to the report, as he also allegedly chased the woman out of the dorm and “threw multiple items at her including a brush and container of ‘hair grease’ causing bleeding and swelling.”

This is the second incident in which Watkins has been involved since joining the program. Back in May, he was arrested for trespassing on school grounds following a verbal altercation with a woman that allegedly included destruction of property.

At the time, head coach Dan Mullen noted he was “aware of the incident” and “collecting information.” No punishment was ever announced for Watkins as this occurred after spring practice and the player was not yet enrolled at Florida.

Watkins has since enrolled in the Summer B semester and formally joined the Gators. Mullen announced Watkins’ suspension “from all team activities” in a brief statement to 247Sports, which first reported the arrest.

Ranked as the 89th best player in the nation, Watkins was expected to join Florida as a wide receiver but may actually begin his career in the secondary — should he wind up remaining on the team this season — due to an immediate need at the cornerback position. Mullen had previously discussed the possibility with Watkins but said he would ultimately let him choose to play where he felt most comfortable in 2018.

Who was the guy that we had during the Meyer years that pulled the assault rifle out of the trunk of his car and I think fired it in the air outside a bar or something like that? I think Meyer kicked him off the team then let him come back off scholarship to try to earn his way back on he team, don’t think he ever did. He popped into my head when I was reading through this thread and I can’t remember his name, we definitely have had our share of thugs here. Lol

Youre an idiot. Steeles projecting what the AP will do is an entirely different article than what he proejcts. He does two. He projected Florida as a dark horse National Champion last year.

Phil Steele tabs Florida Gators as darkhorse national title team

As for him "knowing football" he is a stat guy whose primary metric is retirning starters. He doesnt understand enough to know returning starter who are terrible players arent a good thing.

Like you, he didnt understand enough to know that the losing seasons by Chimp and Bitters were inevitable given their own product they were assembling.

You are the azz wart of Gator football boards. I can see w Swamp Ass is so proud to be rid of you.

He might be working hard at it, just that he's not very GOOD at it.
I could work hard at being a tightrope walker but end up a splat on the pavement.
Just wait til July.

Perfect.

Or it could be a repeat of things under McElwain where we had all those crazy arrests and accusations but the play on the field still sucked.
difference is - Mac's recruits were 3* and still trouble makers
