You don't think they have a chance to get a Judge to order the Pats to pay up to the estate if the money is legally owed? Some talking head was saying since they were just starting a civil case he thought they probably could. Regardless if they got a court to freeze it - with some law tricks and bankruptcy law they will probably be able to shield some of his stuff just like OJ was able to.
No, Im saying murdering people is a violation of the contract and the Pats wont pay him. It doesnt take a conviction for them to violate his contract for the various good conduct clauses. Hell, slapping your wife or even saying stupid shyt in public is a violation. His failing to disclose that he murdered people in the past probably makes the entire contract (and signing bonus) invalid. Patriots would have never signed him at all had they known will be the argument.

The question is more of whether or not the Pats will be able to recoup the bonus.

Will they settle in the middle somewhat, maybe? Perhaps probably. But the proposition that he wasnt technically.convicted therefore he (his eastate) gets his contract money is silly.
