I watched replay of UGa v OK. Wasn't paying attention to names but one OK RB/slot guy was Percy-like, fast, elusive, getting great gains. Anyway, the announcer said that he arrived on campus weighing 145lbs !! (He's 165 now.) Big powerhouse program recruits & gives scholarship to 145lbs ?? GC dumpers would go beserk if we had signed 145lbs. Still, how sharp are the OK evaluators for believing in this guy?

UF needs recruiting specialists, like the business model of training "headhunters". The UF recruiting process should be creating an "early-rush" of Florida bandwagon recruits. And for pete's sake, solve that Jacksonville neglect and the IMG drought. We're supposed to be rebuilding. So, show some determination Mullencrew.

I think if i remember correctly that he is an athlete that is very raw and runs a minimal route tree. Lots of fly's and screens. Also I don't believe he camped anywhere...including UF which pissed off Mullen that he didn't show up for FNL.

What makes you think they could recruit another Harvin?

Meyer has not done either. Maybe, Mike Weber comes close but he's a traditional, albeit speedy RB that can catch. Actually, neither offense really looks like Florida's offense under Mullen/Meyer. Both have adjusted it to fit their personnel which is the way it should be. I can't wait to see what Mullen will come up with for this roster. He probably won't reveal his whole game plan. I expect a run heavy offense in the first game, to get the RBs going. Safe passes ala Fromm for Franks. A blocked punt or two and a kickoff return for a TD from Adarius. I can't wait to see how the TEs are used and how he uses RJ Raymond.

You're right Mullen only had one year where anyone had 300 yards rushing & receiving. Brandon Holloway in 2015

So it was Curtis Samuel and not Mike Weber. But it's not like the Curtis Samuels of the world grow on tree either. Hell Mullen can split Lemons out wide and put him in motion to receive the hand off. He has some good speed. Maybe not Harvin speedy but he can outrun most linebackers and some safeties. That way Lemons can get some plays.

All of CFB hasn't had a Percy Harven for 10 years, but plenty have schemed players that way with them becoming stars that highlight the game. Shouldn't we do that with Toney or another shifty speedster. Wish we had signed that track-star footballer who wound up going to Tennessee.
