Bad base running, out 1. One long fly to the track. Then a pop up to 2nd.

6 to 0 after 4.

Sausage out, Slater in. Sausage looked more like Sausage tonight. It was only a matter of time.

Why the hell is Slater worried about the lead runner on 2nd base with two outs? He stepped off twice to chase the runner back. Correct me if I am wrong but with two outs, if you retire the hitter the inning is over?. Just a total waste of concentration.

Jax sux. their new pitcher hits the first two hitters. Thomas SAC bunts and the pitcher tries to stupidly get the lead runner at 3B and whips the ball into LF.

12-1. Hope the bullpen can hold the lead.

So here is the most interesting thing tonight. One of these talking heads was just genuflecting about the Gator pitching staff tonight b/c apparently Jax rang up 36 runs in their 3 game series this past weekend against Austin Peay State University. I was born and raised 30 minutes from APSU and I had no idea they even played baseball. APSU is famous for one thing and one thing only: James "FLY" Williams. Look him up if you do not know. "The FLY is open, let's go PEAY". And his short stint at APSU was just the beginning of the stories and his legend.

Sully pinch hits for Cags with the bases loaded. Cags might have hit the ball 600 feet off that Jax pitcher LOL Some guy named Brookins is the pinch hitter. Maybe he is from Brooker?

Russell in to pitch. Has he pitched this season?

So Russell was around the plate. Only gave up one hit and one walk to "save" the 12-1 victory. I would say that inning immediately vaults Russell into the weekend closer role.:stirpot:

700th win for O'Sullivan.

Like it or not, he is our coach as long as he wants to be here.
