There will be no addition by subtraction. We needed that big boy. Maybe Dez can convert to OL.

Exactly, and now our OL portal evals are like 1 for 5. I don't like the 20% hit rate, especially when the 1 is a diamond that came from the last place. Not that it wasn't good, but the fact we can't hit in the portal when evaluating talent that didn't just transfer with the coach might be a longer term issue. Hopefully, the OL development is actually a thing and a new OC can mask the deficiencies I'm sure we still have on the line.

Jayden Hill is in the portal
Man, this is over. No CBs worth a flip, no OL, no interior DL.

We are fielding a 2024 team of castoffs, younglings, and pwos coached by a lame duck and a group of journeymen stopping by for a one year paycheck.

Two or three wins max next year and then it’s bye bye Billy after the UGA curb stomp. And probably DJ too since it seems he came here for Napier.

What a disaster. Don’t throw Stricklin out of the building. Lock him under it so he doesn’t ruin any more programs.

Urban will have to recruit DJ back on the team. Do not jump yet. It'll be a fun ride to the bottom. Gatorchatter is built for this. Maybe Stricknine will get fired.

One of our OL coaches recruiting a PWO two days before NSD and the OL hasn't committed. Have to laugh, even though it hurts. You would think that after the previous two rounds of portal restocks other teams made, that really helped them, Simple would have been ready to hit it hard and pull some ready-to-starts but does not appear they were ready for it.

I AM SO DISCOURAGED WITH GATOR FOOTBALL! BEEN A FAN SINCE 1969. I DIDN'T FEEL THIS DOWN EVEN WHEN CHARLIE PELL'S FIRST TEAM WENT 0-10-1!

Are you guys being serious?

Hill saw that CBN was recruiting multiple players for his position. He is being pushed out.

Maz is leaving for the same reason. He was going to lose his position to Harris and George, once the new tackle committed.

If you pu$$ies want to cry about guys leaving, McClellan and Norman are our two biggest losses.

I was scratching my head at the overreactions to Hill and Maz leaving because they are good enough to start other places but actually not good enough to start here. Which, yes...is kinda sad...but the truth. We definitely could have used Maz for depth tho, but he aint a starter. Doesn't change the fact we are recruiting like crap on the OL and development is questionable (crappy recruiting or crappy development or a lil of both...I think a lil of both)...but losing Hill and Maz isn't the end of the world. Plenty of other things to point to for that wrt this team.

Custer, had a plan
Custer’s Last Thought

The Metropolitan Museum of Art commissioned a talented but eccentric artist to paint a mural honoring Native American heritage. He was to be paid $100k. The theme was to be “Custer’s Last Thought at Little Big Horn.” The artist worked feverishly, keeping his work secretive and allowing no one to see it. After 3 months the mural was complete and ready to be unveiled. As the patrons, donors, and the museum’s curator stood anxiously by, the artist said only that his work truly represented Custer’s final thought and without further ado he gave a tug and the mural was uncovered.

To the crowd’s great surprise the mural depicted a large cow with a halo over its head followed by a giant eye. Around those two objects were many naked male and female Native Americans, all engaged in a variety of sexual positions! “Why this is an outrage!” yelled the Curator. “How can this pornography represent Custer’s last thought at Little Big Horn?” The artist stepped forward and calmly explained “Follow along” and he pointed at the cow and halo and the eye and then at the Native Americans en flagrante delicto. “Custer had to be thinking ‘Holy Cow! Look at all those f**king injuns!”

The $100k was dutifully tendered.

Certainly Billy has had similar thoughts these past two seasons.

I have to disagree with you. Those guys actually WERE good enough to start at UF. How do I know that? B/C they were fu$%^%$ing starting.
