Or this this the great hire and we will,be contending again soon!
One of those two for sure.
Very astute observation.

Nice Bio but the only thing I couldn't find was the prominent players recruited. Seems obvious he can coach 'em up but can he bring 'em in? We're going to learn a lot about this hire when we see his first recruiting class.
- Louisville wide receiver and Super Bowl XXXIX MVP Deion Branch
- Alabama running back and Heisman Tropy winner Mark Ingram, now with the New Orleans Saints
- New York Jets 2011 draft selection quarterback Greg McElroy
- Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones, a first-team All-American and 2011 first-round draft selection of the Atlanta Falcons
- Alabama Doak Walker Award winner and Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson
Didn't seem like he was at any job long enough to be developing the players he also recruited. Hopefully he can get it done on the recruiting trail. It does look like he has made his career coaching and getting production from someone else's recruits so hopefully he can do the same with Muschamp's guys and win right away while bringing in some top classes of his own.t-gator;n122756 said:as the offensive coordinator I'm sure he played a huge role in recruiting these guys. Plus he was a rivals 25 recruiter in his last year at bama
Yeah it feels pretty Daz'ish. I hope I'm wrong. It's going to seem like a decade until spring football arrives and we can see this choo choo train.Gatoravatara;n122759 said:We are really trying really hard to become ecstatic about the hire. I hope that they are wrong as well. A lost decade would be hard to come back from.

TallyGator;n122787 said:I think he will do his very best, which is all we can hope for. The bar set by Muschamp is pretty low...which is a plus for whoever the new coach would be. The negative records set by Muschamp should not be in jeopardy...another plus. The Gator Nation should rally around him...we'll know soon enough whether this is going to work out.
