That interview with Frost was before our job came open. It's going to be hard for him to say no, but it's possible. The reality is he will be in the same geographic region but with more of everything, like the Geico ad.

Stricklin can put it to him this way, 7-0 at UCF has him ranked 18th. If he was 7-0 here he's be ranked 1 or 2.

What I'm hoping is Frost can convince White that one of his assistants, probably the OC should take over as HC and keep the momentum going so Frost won't have to worry or feel guilty about abandoning the program and in fact can feel good about getting one of his friends their big break.

We're gonna be driving each other nuts by the time the actual decision is leaked. We're talking five weeks.

Was Twitter even around in 2004?

Exactly, this quote is from an older article, weeks ago, before UF had an opening. The author threw a few paragraphs together to get hits on their 247 page (the story is literally 4 or 5 paragraphs). He took an old interview and made a new "story" for page hits...

The Bowl does this all the time. He also takes tweets from players and creates “articles” with headlines surmising what the tweet said and then when you open the article it’s only the tweet. He such a douche bag.

Frost's teams score tons of points and play tremendous defense. That's what separates the guy -- defense.

We may not get him but it’s nice to see all our rivals freaking out about the possibility. They didn’t do that with Champ or Mac.

Even funnier to read the UCF fan stuff. Bottom line is no matter how good they may be they will always be a stepping stone unless the Big 12 takes them.

Bottom line is coaches want to win titles and not just be good somewhere. It will come down to where can he try and win a natty

He (and all the other writers at SEC Country) do it. They'll take McElwain's press conference, where they could just make one article w/ bullets for each question/comment.....and make an entire "article" out of the comment, "McElwain updates injury list" (and all he said is, yeah these 2 players are out, these two are questionable, and this player is back full speed). It's literally a bullet point and you click it....and it's a 4 paragraph "article" where they expound on it, "Getting this player back will really help the defense...." It's very poor journalism, nothing more than click-bait.

This man has all the indications he could be the equivalent of UM. Do you want to pay another coach three fourths this amount and get another dud? These duds are expensive. I think what SOS is saying speaks volumes.
As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for" and we have!

Kelly probably wants Saban/Harbaugh money. Does he still have that fire though?

I'm not even sure Frost is that much more of a gamble over a guy who's been out of the college game(5 yrs) longer than he was a head coach in it(4 yrs only).

Very much true. I would say that Will Miles is the exception to this rule though

For sure it’s rampant at that site but the Bowl is just the worst. At least the others try writing articles.

Thanx 78. I thought I was the only person who thought UF was searching for a head football coach. Most of what you read and most of what you hear would convince anyone that UF is only in the market for a coach for offense. So I was not exactly sure that they were even looking for a guy who had a grasp of other areas of football or knew the rules regarding challenges timeouts, etc.

Natty tite?
Actually, I think we may want his OC.
So then what's Nuss supposed to do, QB coach?
