Stats? You didn't watch any of the games in 2008?
Yeah. I saw a team that kept the game close til the fourth quarter vs most teams. Hardly dominating.

That's what happens when you dominate recruiting.
That is true, but even that started falling apart by 08. Top receivers and backs didnt want to come here to watch the QB be the leading rusher.

One of the many reasons Creyer decided to fake a heart attack.

Dunno. How many of those went contested to the 4th? Screen%20Shot%202018-08-19%20at%206.19.02%20PM.jpg

Other than Ole Miss and the national championship, I don’t think any were.

Maybe Tennessee or Miami? They were really trying to find their groove until the Ole Miss game.

If I recall right, they started a little slow against Arkansas but then exploded and never looked back.

The only rewards were two national championships and a near miss at a 3rd.

Not enough reward.
Of course Im talking about yardage and points vs turnover.

However, since you have changed it, we didnt win 06 w the option. We moved to the fullback and a power game with some passing, after about 18 games of trying to cram a square peg in a round hole.

As for the number of crowns, there were no top 5 Clown Town and Top 5 Tinerc on the schedule (plusba top 10 ugly) even before we played Bammer in the SECG in 2008. Much easier road.

I know. That was an utterly dominating team. The only suspense was how many drunk fans you were going to have to get past on the way to your car.

FSU in the 90's was far far better than in the 00's

I will say that every great kid you get in state is one less that can go to FSU or Miami.

Law, don't take my word. Google best college offenses all-time. See what comes up. You'll almost always see 2008 Oklahoma because they set a scoring mark.

We shut them down.

Miami was 9-3 going into 4th Quarter Miami vs. Florida - Game Recap - September 6, 2008 - ESPN
Arky was 17-7 Florida vs. Arkansas - Game Recap - October 4, 2008 - ESPN
I was feeling pretty confident for those first four games.

Of course, Bammer and Okie don't count. Those should be close games.

I probably am remembering 09 more, and how terrible the offense was without Percy trying to rely on Demps and Rainey.

Five players on the All-SEC first team, four on the second, four on the All-Frosh unit.

Honestly, was there ever a more complete Florida team than 2008?

You've done it. You've posted the #1 dumbest thing that's ever been posted on this board, and that is quite the accomplishment.

The 96 offense hands down. We coulda scored 100 in half our games if SOS had really wanted to. Precision passing to our best group of WRs ever. Solid running game that was set up by the pass and a playcaller that was the best EVER during his heyday.
Hell, we were bored by halftime in damn near every game.
I’m not belittling the 08 team, but it ain’t even close IMO.
