Donk and MJM are right...there’s no comparison between the ‘96 and ‘08 offenses. I loved watching Tebow and Harvin, and the defense and special teams were spectacular, and the season in general was a lot of fun. But, no Gator offense will ever come close to matching the dominance of that ‘96 team. And the dismantling of the semenholes in the NC game was a thing of beauty and joy.

The 96 offense hands down. We coulda scored 100 in half our games if SOS had really wanted to. Precision passing to our best group of WRs ever. Solid running game that was set up by the pass and a playcaller that was the best EVER during his heyday.
Hell, we were bored by halftime in damn near every game.
I’m not belittling the 08 team, but it ain’t even close IMO.
Every team takes its foot off the gas leading big late. The difference is it's easier to identify with a team that scores more often through the air than a team that does it on the ground.

I loved the 08 team, but gimme SOS signaling in plays to Danny any day. There was never a more precise passing game in college football. 3rd and 15 after a stupid penalty was simply delaying the scoring drive from being under 3 minutes.

Now I’ll wait for @oxrageous to come in crying crocodile tears about you making this a political thread, or better yet, delete this post.

Seriously, what the f*ck does a random congresswoman from New York have to do with your incredibly idiotic take on our offense 10 years ago?

I just read that the 95 Nebraska offense currently holds the record of 58 points per game and they are the last team to not give up a single sack. I know they mostly ran but that's still impressive considering they had 200 passing attempts.

Considering who you support in the White House, your opinion on stupidity is forever null and void. But thanks for playing.

I always thought our 95 offense was actually better than 96. Also, the 2001 offense was better than 08.

95 Nebraska was the best offense I have ever seen. Roided up or not. They were flat out dominant.

One thing each I appreciate about the 1996 and 2008 Florida offenses:

1. The '96 offense made me feel like 3rd and 20 was still automatic.

2. The '08 offense had Tebow, which made goalline type plays more automatic than ever before or since.

1995 Nebraska. I have not seen a more dominating offense. It wasn't just us either that they clobbered.
