Bro you shoulda seen my team this past weekend. My boy Forte scored 3 TD's while Zeke Elliot got me 80 yards and a tuddy. Thankfully I was able to get my squad to 1-1, 0-2 starts are hard to overcome.

Have to admit I can't even remember when the NFL stopped holding interest for me. I know that I gave up trying in 2001 I know that because it was the season before the Bucs won the Super Bowl. Through the 90's I tried but was losing interest. Honestly, once the likes of Tom Landry and Howard Cosell were gone it was downhill.

I dislike sCam as much as any other Gator fan but I thought his comments yesterday on Kaepernick were pretty good. He also had a press conference and ranted about Kaepernick in about the same way. His comments apparently aren't going over real well with African Americans. How is it that there are such stark and contrasting views over something that seems so straight forward and easy to understand?

I feel the exact same way. They are cutting their own throats with all the side shows. With all the free agency and the focus on concussions they might find themselves in trouble in 4-5 years. I know that the youth football numbers are way down and getting worse.

I gave up on the NFL when giving up on the NFL was not cool. Now I just wish we could get all this protest crap off the front page so I don't have to see it at all. The NFL has been raping taxpayers for decades. Without taxpayer funding for new stadiums and improvements, which never seem to end, the NFL as we know it could not exist.

The NFL is pretty boring. Every team and system is basically the same... The rosters recycle every 3 years and there are more commercials than ever. It's such corporate environment.

Also the regular season is pretty irrelevant unlike the importance of a college football regular season. It's hard for me to get excited about a football game when I know it's pretty irrelevant to the outcome of a season.

I only watch the later rounds of the playoffs and only to root for teams or players I like or to root against players or teams I hate.

Yes. In NFL circles, a 9 - 6 record or even 8 - 8 is considered a successful season as long as the team makes the playoffs. Mediocrity is the norm. How boring.
