Never was a guru. It was a bill of sale drawn up by Foley to present to the UF fan base fabricated upon a body of work he did at Colorado State.
According to Saban Mac is no offensive guru. That was ok with Saban but it's not ok in Gainesville if you can't win big games.

Fooley's special skill for picking losers for HC's has caused another set of wasted years for our program. As stated, Chimp never did give a shyte about offense and didn't hide it. All it takes to evaluate Butters is watch him freeze on the sidelines like a first-year GA when a critical HC decision has to be made, like calling a timeout to keep a game alive. It's too hard for him. He's just not bright enough to keep up.
Time to give him another raise.

I think you guys midjudge that. You presume that any sane coach would TRY to win the game but we are talking about a coach who runs out the clock in the first half when he is losing.
IMO, He was playing for OT. Trying to score TDs is WAAAAAAAY too risky.
