LSU's President is a total buffoon

There's been way too much idiocy over this situation, some of it right here on this board unfortunately.

I saw "buffoon" in the title and thought I was in the political forum.

The only thing that made sense was to play the game on Sunday. Now they just need to skip it because everyone will never agree.

According to Finebaum LSU has been trying to get Florida off of their regular schedule and he thinks that he may using this as a negotiating chip to make that happen.

Nothing new to add, but would add agreement to two things.

1. Why Atlanta? Why would we give up a home game? Why would he think that is a good idea or not be completely transparent? ...which leads to...
2. Why is he playing this out in the public sphere? Why isn't he handling this professionally? This is unbelievable. ...maybe they DO deserve the label 'corndogs.' Geeeze.

LSU has been trying to take advantage of this situation from the beginning. It is disgusting.

A lot of people, including some on here, believe UF is at fault for postponing the game. While that is foolishly a topic of debate, it's undeniable that if this game isn't rescheduled, then that is entirely on LSU.

Postponing the game was the right call. However, between the SEC brass, UF, and LSU, couldn't one of the three mention a contingency plan to actually play the game at some point?

This was true during the addition and schedule changes in 2012. LSU doesn't like to play Florida as it's consistent East opponent. See Alabama play Tennesse yearly, and Kentucky, USCe, and Vanderbilt being the set in East opponent for others in their division... can't really blame that argument.

Maybe this is the catalyst to change the scheduling format, because it blows dicks as it currently stands.
