Kind of glad to have Gardner back at Safety. Think he is better suited for the position. Only issue is it leaves us pretty young at corner.

Im not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I don't think safeties should be leading a team in tackles

These types of stories have become almost as tough to hear as actual game losses. With the way he improved last year, I was really excited to see him this year. Throw in always seeming like a great kid and being a Gator legend in his last season, and this one really hurts.

Of course we already lose a starter before fall practice begins. Wasn't he the one that had the TD against the Noles? We always seem to have these non contact season ending injuries.

Huge loss for this season and really tough for Harris. I hope he heals quickly.

This could, however, be a blessing in disguise like the Jake McGee injury. The defense is going to struggle this year anyways due to youth, but when Harris gets back the defense and team as a whole should be better. Having Harris another year will make next year's team better.
