Cook's arraignment has just been pushed back to Sept and his lawyers are pissed!

His lawyers are claiming the reason that the DA did this was to force a Plea Deal. His attorney's said that the state will either have to drop the charges or take this to trial. If it goes to a jury trial they say it will take 60 days which will basically be the whole season so it's going to be hanging over that program for a minute.

Well a lifelong friend of mine (FSU Booster) told me that Cook was in the practice facility whenever he dropped his kids off at Jimbo's football camp last weekend and went on to brag and say that Cook will be on the field for them come fall because he wasn't charged with a felony.

Without a plea deal or the charges being dropped, his season was going to be eaten up by time anyway. If Thrasher is concerned at all about the perception of the program Cook will not be eligible until this thing is adjudicated in some favorable fashion.

He probably doesn't have to worry about it because he's already instructed his wife to acquiesce to any requests for fellatio by FSU football players.

Same as Sandusky who was raping underage boys.... I think that may be going a bit far. Jimbo is a sleaze, but he child abuse is far worse

A better comparison would be Tom Osborne. The sexual assault comparisons are very close. And both coaches are incredibly complicit.

Of course Osborne went on to become a state representative. The perfect fit.

Sandusky is another animal. Tom Osborne who just let the inmates run the show would be a better comparison.
