You probably aren't going to like what I say next to this, which I agree with every word you type above, is that once we watch SwampKings tonight we might understand how the program fell so hard and maybe, while Meyer gets a lot of credit for getting us back to the top, he probably deserves a bit of credit for sinking us to the bottom.
Blaming Meyer? Meyer himself said it was a mistake to leave UF the way he did after the hiring of Musdump. If anyone should more blame its former AD Fooley.

Hate to break it to you but the team fell apart because the media made everything about Tebow and it divided that 2009 team

If even half of what the article alludes to is true, then Stricklin should be gone today. This is the shyt you see and hear about if you are in tune with your program. Your Golden Goose is sick. You should fu(king know!
I'm all for it. Building the Taj Mahal of baseball stadiums while the golden goose of the athletic department is burning in flames right in front of your eyes should be grounds for a firing, if not a lawsuit for derelict of duty. I would love nothing more than to see him escorted off the premises by university police and replaced with someone who puts football first.

I'm not all that sure Stricklin is that bad.. I believe in the beginning he was somewhat under Fooley's thumb. I think with the last two hires were on his own.. Appears to have done well.. Tlime will tell.

The "Taj Mahal" was built to facilitate the indoor practice facility, which was sorely needed. If you are going to do it, do it right.

How could the failures sneak up on an AD unless asleep at the wheel. The fan base watching catastrophes unfold and the AD is thinking what? Foley is fuchen douche's fuchen douche.
I am apparently mistaken. Foley did not hire Mullen. Stricklin was hired in 2016, mullen 2017. So it was Stricklin who enriched mullen with the lucrative extension even after there were holes in the ship? At least, many of us thought something was amiss by 2018-2019 but surely a competent insider knew more than did we.

Yeah, blaming Meyer. He swept a lot of dirt under the rug for star players but didnt for others. He developed a culture that made it boil over to the point of no return. Dude assembled and built such a quality stack of talent that even a midlevel OC like muLLLLLLLen could win.

He also won 2 SEC and 2 National Championships, an era so spectacular we have a Nexflix series about it.

Midlevel OC is a stretch. More like a Bottom level. I’ve seen more creative play calling in Pop Warner games.

Meyer hanging on after tapping out to let jazz hands “run” things was the start. Another Foleyism.
