I'm pretty sure the last time I saw Iowa against the Gators it was in a bowl game in Jacksonville. I mean it was like antarctic cold that night, think Wayne Peace was QB. In the bleachers, under a blanket with some college chick I didn't marry... stayed warm and we won by a TD I think.

We barely beat Iowa the last time we played them with Meyer in the Outback and lost to them the time before that. They will come in motivated and I fear we will play similar to the way we've played before in meaningless bowl games. We also have a so-so record (4-5 in bowl games since 1990) against Big 10 teams. I am not confident.

We always get stuck with Big 10 teams. So boring. I wish we would play a Pac 12 or Big 12 team. Just to change things up.

1983. Coldest I can remember ever being in the state. Went with a buddy that was an Iowa fan. We had a $10 bet. He paid me off in pennies.
