Hard to say anything positive about what we just saw.
The team had ample reason to be fired up: we just lost to our biggest rival, but still ranked #11 and in position to play in a premium bowl AND our team admitted they quit last year against today's opponent--and got blown out in the process.
..then...this.
Our offense played like crap. Our defense played like crap. Locke looked like a Heisman contender and he played without most of his top weapons.
About the *only* thing decent we learned was that Trask is a viable option as a QB. He went against Missouri's starters and did better than Franks: marched down the field for a TD on his first possession and did an ok job handling pressure on the others (took one sack; but threw it away on others or put it in a position where only our guy could make the catch). That was the biggest knock on him before the game and he showed enough to get more chances. Especially with Franks playing so poorly.
