That's a pretty good beer. I am actually a stout and porter guy. Atwater brews a good vanilla mocha, Terrapin's Liquid Bliss, and Highland's Oatmeal porter are some of my favorites

I love Fat Tire. Locally up here, Olde Mecklenburg Brewery in Charlotte (QCG can likely verify without starting a poll) is really a first-class outfit, and their best brew IMHO is their Copper Ale. Very tasty and very easy to drink.

That does look good - 'German' inspired.

BTW: For those of us who wonder about good beers in the area - There is an app called 'Untappd' that my brothers like. It's a social app for beer drinkers.
You basically try a new beer - upload a picture of it and give it a rating and location along with dramatic statements like:
"This ale is slightly ostentatious with a hint of stateliness. It has hints of vanilla and a long smooth finish."

I enjoy this one as well (an Ale that's a little on the dark side):

This beer is amazingly good without being sweet or fruity as you would think. Very smooth, not bitter, but still tastes like beer. Pricey at $10.99 per 4 pak.

All these fancy smancy beers are fine when you're trying to impress people at some kind of yuppie bar, however when your standard consumption goes well north of a case on fall Saturday afternoons I prefer some plain old Bud Light or Mich Ultras. :drunk:

Right now I'm drinking a Swamp Head Stump Knocker but usually it's a home brew
I finally had one yesterday on draft at Red Robin it was like $6.50. Looked like cloudy pissss. I was afraid it would taste like that nasty Blue Moon but it was very good. Is it always that expensive on draft. At Piesanos it was $6.

Life too short for shiiitty beer. Even when I'm buying by the case it sure as hell isn't going to be "Light" and certainly not "ultra light".

Collectively of course......there's me, myself and I:headbang:.......Keep in mind I only do this on Saturday's and I eat a sh!tload of food while doing it and it takes place over a 6 or 8 hour period. During September-October games, jumping in the pool a few times, while grilling keeps you fresh. If I have friends over I usually purchase 2 cases.

I guess to each his own, but I'll pass on the fruity banana infused "custom lager" or fruit salad "home brewed" pissed in by the brewmaster, ale that some people drink :barfaway:after about 3 of those.

If you want to knock your dick in the dirt .... Bacon Maple beer:

Had it. Waste of $14 or whatever the price tag was. Bacon is only good in its real form. Over did the smokey grains imo.

All you fancy shmancy beer drinkers kill me. Beer was for highschool because you couldn't afford or handle anything else. Now you're drinking beer that sounds like a salad or desert? Grow the **** up and drink some whiskey, boys!
