I do think this is the best Kentucky team in 20 years, but they are still only better than Vandy and Tennesse in the SEC. Stoops has their talent getting better and he appears to be a good coach.

No it wasn't. It was meant to state how "much improved" UK is this year and how great a job Stoops is doing with them. He also said they would go at least 9-3 in any conference other than the power 5. I'm telling ya, UK will need a minor miracle to become bowl eligible and some of you are saying this is the best team they've had in over 20 years. Well the 9-3 comment, I just don't buy, meaning it isn't happening. But I do think they are "much improved", but really again, that's a relative term. Stoops is doing a good job with them. And the WR they have that got the 2 TD's went to the same high school that I did (though it was years ago lol). He's a solid receiver, and to be honest, I'm not sure how Kentucky got him.URGatorBait said:

We've been mocking the comments i just referred to, which were simply ludicrous. Yes they are improved, but for the love of god, could they be any worse than last year? UK sucks and they always have. It took us 3 OTs and a lot of luck (at home) to beat an SEC bottom dweller. THAT is the point.URGatorBait said:

I still don't agree that they suck, or that they are necessarily a bottom dweller. Records aren't always the best factor in determining that, though they will be telling somewhat. They may only be a bottom dweller this season by default, I mean someone does have to lose the game you know. But it's not necessarily the record that determines that, especially when we are talking about a team that is improving.URGatorBait said:

I think the whole reason we're talking about how "good" Kentucky is concerns how UF might be, coming so close to
getting beat by Kentucky. A coach can greatly improve UK and still not make them a top 40 team.
