:bwahaha:

Yeah, as soon as the change the rules so TOP wins games.

He can recruits CBs and undersized DEs and nothing else.
Yeah, strike that comment. South Carolina finished 108th in total offense in 2017. Still a floozie.

Driskel and Franks surely were a huge part of our joke offenses but 2012 showed you can have a totally inept QB and still have a pretty good season.

Yes, but SOS was speaking about having a prolific offense that scores points without necessarily having the most talented QB. The 2012 team didn’t have that, they relied on defense...and a lucky horseshoe up their azzes.

Muschamp may be stubborn, but he's no dummy. I wouldn't yet bet against him becoming a decent head coach. The man can recruit.

If decent is 9-3 regular season, maybe so, but who the hell wants that. That doesn’t win you championships.

I want at least 9-3 seasons, far better than recently. And of course process and play wins championships, the wins are just a resultant.

For example Auburn beat both of the finalists, but yet no championship for them.

I want 9-3 to be the floor when we’re having a very bad year...not the ceiling when Muschamp is the HC.

We keep focusing on the offense. Grantham's defense is going to have a big say-so in the matter.

I've lowered my standards to make room for badminton and quidditch.
as long as we're still winning championships in badminton, gymnastics, cornhole, and spelling bee that's all I care about.

We recently bagged four more in that area. Tune in to Late Night Dilly Dilly for details. Be sure to bring a six-pack.

Lulz..... strike up the "that is a pretty good offense by SEC standards" chorus.

BTW, I've got the perfect gif suggestion if Grantham shyts the bed.

Be nice to me.

Edit: Can we really trust another defensive Dwag?

Muschamp - 7 years as a head coach and going on his 4th offensive coordinator? I see a pattern, but I could be wrong...

And I would also like to add...not smart coaches and not smart players (especially QBs) is a recipe for disaster.

When Spurrier was hired, he was not recognized as an elite coach. Funny how that worked out.

Meyer hadn't achieved elite stature yet when UF hired him..... :scratchhead:

Zook wasn't yet known for his vacuuming or floor polishing skills, either.

Meyer was a can’t miss hire, despite what “not in the know” message board posters were saying in 2004/2005. Anybody that was watching closely watching football in the early 2000s could see this.

Interesting link in the middle of the story to SEC teams who passed on Spurrier earlier in his career.

1986 Mississippi State opted for assistant coach Rocky Felkner, who was never heard of again.

Same year LSU promoted DC Mike Archer.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

And Arsparger reportedly wanted Archer at UF. At least that was a rumor I heard at the time.
