Fournette looked about as good as KT without any blockers tonight.

31 yards on 19 carries.

Poor Kelvin … he has to come back next year. He's got too little NFL appeal from this season.

My thoughts on KT are that he may not even get a single yard in the SEC championship game. Look what those guys did to Fournette and a real o-line last night.

Kinda hard to run when the defense is waiting on you either at or behind the LOS, isn't it?

He's running into the D two yds behind the line almost as soon as he gets the ball. it is terrible.

This. It's hard to imagine watching the games and not noticing but apparently some do.

KT is supposed to shrug off 290 pound linemen, jump over linebackers, and juke every DB!

Wanted to revive this thread after KT's game last night. We're lucky to have him, and he'll be gone after this season

Taylor is improving and that's what good players do. I think he'd average 100 ypg behind a decent line. He's consistently punched it in for 6 in the red zone. I'm proud of the kid and I hope he comes back next year.

Yeah, try to imagine having legitimate holes or gaps to run through. The one really great thing about KT this year is the "finishing" he's proud of. Never thought I'd see him move the pile for a few extra feet. Gotta love the "want to" improvement in his run game. IMO

Anyone still think KT is a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick?? Or more like an undrafted FA?

From the Combine:

Kelvin Taylor, running back, Florida: The early entrant was a bit of an unknown commodity heading into Indy, but his legacy (as Fred Taylor's son) fueled expectations of a strong performance this weekend. However, Taylor didn't deliver the goods with a poor 40 time (4.60) and a lackluster showing in drills (too many dropped passes), leading to more questions about his fit as a feature back.

Taylor only managed 15 bench presses (4th fewest among RBs), a 32.0 inch vertical (5 worst among RBs), and 113.0 broad jump (4th lowest).

He is a late round flyer IMO
