We're tile and hardwood everywhere except the bedrooms and I did the stairs to match the hardwood floors.

We have a similar rounded situation. And the same where this wood flooring matches to the tile in the bathroom: 100% no transition (zero seem or bump)

Nice. Same, and same with door frame transitions. We had GREAT guys for our whole home renovation, but all the really great ideas (like that curved transition) were mine. Then the great tile guy had the idea for those little bits of tile at the transition. I'm actually pretty proud of all the ideas I came up with, then they implemented perfectly.
