It makes perfect sense now that position is being announced. He will be the LB Coach, but he will also be Co Defensive Coordinator. Sounds like AA is getting demoted and Napier is trying to fix the defense. One of the very few steps in the right direction he has made.

I would take that. Not outright demoting AA would be the right move. Napier could have misjudged AA’s current abilities. Hopefully they all work together.

How would he know which hat he’s wearing? Can he weigh in twice and so overrule AA ? What could go wrong.

I don't think it's him. The dread pirate Roberts is always around Guilder this time of year.

Rumors on tos is Sling blade is set to hire Ron Roberts (Auburns DC) as his new lb coach. If true that'll be a much better hire then we were expecting.

But SOMEONE made a decent defense at Lafayette. It wasnt million dollar jackoff boy.

He was Napier's first DC at Lafayette. I guess that is better than an intern.

2 reasons. Auburn had effectively already hired his replacement (Charles Kelly) and he previously worked as DC with Napier at ULL.
