That is excellent.

Billy Idol would approve.

It would be valuable to future recruiting & morality influences if the investigation tracked whether prostitutes were provided to 17-18 year old recruits - making sure via Freeze that the boys didn't get the cold shoulder.

To be honest, that's what ticks me off the most! I am a religious man. And I hate it when these public figures claim religion is their moral compass and then live immorally. It is the worst kind of "witness".

Since Freeze is so fond of quoting scripture, perhaps his Sunday school teacher should point out the one about "not being a stumbling block to others."

Amen! I know I'm far from perfect, but I at least make a decent attempt to practice what I preach. Frustrating to see people talk one way and live another. It really highlights all the more why Danny and Timmy are so awesome! They live it!

Hugh clearly isn't an aficionado of The Wire, otherwise he would've used a damn burner phone to hit up his hoes. Dipsh!t

Too bad it won't happen. If the hammer dropped on Helen Hunt, it would have dropped on Boob Bowden, the biggest "Rev" of them all.

Now I'm waiting for the hammer to be dropped on the Ole Piss basketball program. Andy Kennedy seems just as sleazy.
Andy kennedy? Who has he ever got?

There are two stories here. One is the one being talked about and joked about. That one is the story of Hugh Freeze calling a female escort service.

But the other story, and maybe the more important one, is the revenge of Houston Nutt. Nutt was fired at Ole Miss and Freeze was hired to replace him. When the NCAA began to investigate Ole Miss, Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss athletic department constructed a narrative that most of the infractions occurred under Houston Nutt and not Hugh Freeze.

This turned out not to be true. Nutt said that this attempt to defame him resulted in his inability to land another coaching job. Nutt wanted an apology that he did not get. He brought a lawsuit against Freeze.

As part of the lawsuit Nutt's lawyer gained access to the telephone records of phone calls that Freeze made on his university issued phone. Freeze was permitted to redact any personal calls from the record. He did this, but he failed to redact a one minute phone call where he dialed the escort service. That led Ole Miss to look further and they found out that there was a pattern of calls that implicated Freeze.

Who at Ole Miss was responsible for defaming Houston Nutt? Hugh Freeze obviously. But what about Ross Bjork the Athletic Director? Did Jeffrey Vitter the Chancellor know? Is this actually the greater crime?

We didn't want him anyway. It is doubtful that anyone else will now, even his wife.

They are trying to say it was all Freeze, but it will go up the organization. The funny thing is all Nutt wanted initially was just an apologize when the sanctions were released. If they just apologized, they wouldn't be here.

Ole Miss is going to fool around and get the death penalty if they are not careful. Weak leadership at the helm --- the chancellor and the AD

And still do, even right this moment.

Why can't something like this happen to us? To be able to get out of that albatross of a contract instantly? It's like the wonderfulness of totaling a car you are super upside-down in. Gotta envy Ole Miss today.
Troll level infinitum... ox wins the internet today.

"As for the call itself, I have no recollection of the incident. It was clearly a pocket dial. There is nothing else to say about that."

Hugh, your explanation of the call is more incriminating than the call itself. Can you explain to us why you have hookers on speed dial?

... 'cause with Freeze it's over in a few seconds.
