If the NCAA comes down hard on UF it would be a joke considering what happened at Baylor, Ole Miss (as GatorJB pointed out), Miami just recently, Vandy, etc...etc.
Baylor and Vandy were not NCAA issues, but criminal issues.
Exactly. At the moment it seems like it is not an NCAA issue, but the NCAA likes to meddle
The three with CC fraud isn't, but the extra benefits provided by the school (even in error) could be questioned. The NCAA will/is investigating, I don't think there is anything there to penalize with a ban of any kind.
Baylor and Vandy were not NCAA issues, but criminal issues. Ole Miss is a wait and see. Miami got off light, because of NCAA corruption in that case.
I didn't predict this. But we certainly have exposure. The critical issue is what institutional controls we had in place. If we had controls and someone, maybe a student or employee taking the lost card and fraudulent card complaints essentially was a coconspirator, we are probably ok. If we had nothing, we could have trouble. (I'm talking about the credit card fraud related to the GatorOne cards not the three involved in using the stolen credit card number.). We are not getting a bowl ban or probation we self reported the cc scam and was working with the NCAA when it went public..
To each his own. I used Safari forever on my phone and Mac. I had to switch to Chrome due to a specific work site. I switched to it on my phone because of work and things on this site weren't working correctly on Safari.I use chrome on my computer. I just like the safari browser better on the iPhone. I've used just about every browser. Safari just seems to operate best for what I need.
Wouldnt it be funny if Cervone had a press conference where he announced he had decided not to file charges then he went over to the coaches and did high fives and some Gator Chomps ala the Rapeis conference?State attorney Bill Cervone said he contacted University of Florida police on Monday for an update on the case. He said UF police told him they hoped to finish their criminal investigation by the end of this week or early next week. The case would then be forwarded to Cervone’s office, which will decide whether or not to pursue criminal charges.
