Ironically, Jake Owen attended the clown school on a golf scholarship until he had a massive wake boarding accident!

The weird thing about this picture is the book, I didn’t think they allowed books on the campus at Clown College. Seeing a book on the campus is like a big foot sighting. My favorite meme from last season...
Alex.
Take a look at the below list from Rivals and try to convince me to be worried. If you were to count on your fingers the guys listed that we'd actually want, you could do it with one hand and have fingers left over. If they were getting verbals from a bunch of 4 and 5 stars, then I'd be concerned. (Of the 15 listed only two are over 250 lbs. and zero are over 300! For a school like FSU this is really an embarrassing list. Not only do they currently have the #33 class, but it's only the 8th best class in the ACC and BC (!) is nipping at their heels.)*The only "good" transfer they've taken so far. This actually speaks to my point. The more spots they open the more potential to get someone good in. We don't want them opening spots just on that chance.
I thought these two quotes, both from Sims' dad, said a lot about Norvell's recruiting ability:This is a long article on Jeff Sims. I just skipped to the part about Norvell and Sims parting ways.
Impressive debut by Georgia Tech QB Sims may lead to promising future
From reading the article, which has firsthand sources, it looks like Norvell blew the process. Sidehat made Sims feel like he was the key to turning around the program. Norvell made Sims feel like he might play. He might not. We'll see. You cannot convince me Norvell wanted Chubba Purdy over Jeff Sims. No elite program wanted Purdy even though he was highly ranked. That is a serious red flag. Plenty of programs wanted Sims. His talent speaks for itself. He is a much more talented version of Purdy.
That leaves you either three or four fingers.Branden Jennings is the only one I'd want off of that list. I like Malik McClain as well, but we have no problems getting better versions of him.
5'9" LBs aren't often seen.
True, but his rating is 5.6.Columns are so hard for the elderly...

FSU fans claim Norvell told Sims he wanted two QBs in the class and Sims wasn't good with it. Remember when Meyer told Jevon Snead that they were recruiting Tebow as a TE (or something along those lines)? That's how salesman do it.
Linebacker was the rumor.
Unfortunately I think that’s our problem right now as well. I think Mullen is being too honest with some of these kids(horrible to think of it like that), where the great recruiters like NS, KS, etc, are just painting whatever picture it takes to land kids. Within reason, we need to do a better job of that.
True. Plus if I’m reading this right, he’s 63?
Good to see he finally got his grades in order, but you have to wonder about his endurance at this point.
Or when he told Cam Newton that Tebow would be the #1 but Newton could come in on running downs the way Tebow used to spell Leak.. Remember when Meyer told Jevon Snead that they were recruiting Tebow as a TE (or something along those lines)? That's how salesman do it.
You think the reason he cant land 3 stars from Ga Tech, Cowbell or Sunbelt is too much honesty?but maybe he's being "too honest" as well.
Breaking news on ESPN that Norvell just tested positive for Covid
Honest would explain why recruits he loses come back to him: Cox, Lingaard,...You think the reason he cant land 3 stars from Ga Tech, Cowbell or Sunbelt is too much honesty?
