And what about OUR receivers running alone down the field on their "elite" defense? Lot of whiners in here. It's not exactly a secret our secondary is struggling.

If UGA had hooked up on a couple of those throws, then Trask would have simply thrown for 600 yards instead of 474.

It's also good to keep in mind there are very few decent QB's in the SEC.
Thank God for Ox to give us perspective. Agree 100%. I wish Dan would have turned Trask loose in the 2nd half and he had 600 yards and 6 TDs but no worries. We are better than UGA in the most important area, qb. Finally.

At least we can say it this year, hopefully Vandagriff ends up being a dud or it'll be a long 2-3 years.

Wrre going to be more and more prolific once we got our setup

As I've stated too many times to count, UF has the luxury of not having to constantly look at what other schools are doing. Spurrier never cared who a team like uga got. Neither did Meyer. We simply need to focus on getting our players. When we do, we are better than anything they're going to roll out. Saturday is a perfect example of that, and we're still not even at full strength. If it's our best vs their best, we will win that battle way more than we lose it.

last I checked we're getting four of the top 25 players in Florida this year. All are, you guessed it, DBs.

Trailerbammer is taking the top 3 WRs in Fla, again.

Spurrier and Meyer werent sorting through leftovers.

if his deep ball is on (a big IF), he could torch our hapless secondary with the usual opposing WR's running freely down the field.

This. I don't understand all the concern over Franks and the deep ball. He was statistically awful over 20 yards down filed. The fact that he could throw it 70 if needed (nearly never is unless the QB has 5 plus seconds to throw) is irrelevant to him actually completing deep passes. Might he connect on 1 of 3 or 4 opportunities? Maybe, but it won't be enough to keep up with our offense.

Looking at the top 50, we have 8 as of now. We landed 9 in that category last year. By comparison, we landed 12 of the top 50 in 2006, possibly our most talented class ever. We aren't there right now, but are also not sorting through leftovers. We just landed the top kid in the state last year.

Alabama is killing it though, as are the canes. The later is going to happen(either them or fsu). We do need to stop some of the bleeding to Tuscaloosa.

I really dont GAF about top 50. You are in 3* leftover land there.

And take a look at the Rivals top 150 for 2006 (or any other Meyer year) and compare it Dan McMullwain's recruiting.
